Professional background
I am Dr. Péter Endre. I obtained my general medical degree in 1995 at the Szent-Györgyi Albert Medical University. In 1997, I completed my examination in Medical Economics and Healthcare Management at the University of Szeged. Following this, I earned a diploma in European Studies.
In 2006, I obtained my specialization in rheumatology, followed by rehabilitation medicine in 2009. From 2011, I worked at the rheumatology clinic in Karlstad, Sweden, first as a physician and later as a senior consultant. Additionally, I performed teaching and mentoring duties at Örebro University.
I specialize in treating autoimmune and inflammatory systemic diseases:
– Rheumatoid arthritis, also known as RA,
– polymyositis or PM for short,
– systemic sclerosis or also known as SSc,
– seronegative spondyloarthritis, also known as SNSA
– vasculitis - an autoimmune disease that attacks blood vessels
In addition to this, my areas of expertise include pharmacological treatment of osteoporosis patients and injection therapy for degenerative joint conditions.
